“When I was a girl, we used to have to wear in the winter something what was called a Liberty Bodice, made of like a flannelette sort of material, and they were quite warm. Mum used to buy them and I used to buy them for my daughter.”
“Watney Market, I think we last went a few years ago, and mum was looking at jewellery for us to wear at Eid, and I think I said no because I didn’t want jewellery for Eid. I remember her buying fish, and she bought scarves. Its somewhere that I would go only with her, it’s not somewhere I would travel to on my own.”
