Discover what it was like to be a local woman working in factories, from the First World War to the 1968 Ford Dagenham Strikes. Uncover changing ideas about a woman's 'proper place', and their battles against discrimination and for fair pay and equal rights.

Exhibition by East End Women's Museum in partnership with Eastside Community Heritage; supported by National Lottery Heritage Fund.
